West Linn, OR Hardie Plank & Cedar Siding

This Siding installation project was located in West Linn, OR. This was an interesting project to work on, due to the homes creative design. The home was wrapped in two different types of cladding/Siding. A portion of the home is done with Breckenridge board & bat. The Breckenridge panels were supplied by Lake Side Lumber located in Sherwood OR, as well as all the cedar trim and flashing. We had ripped the panels into 16 inch wide strips and then made a staggered pattern of joints, adding that one small but unique feature. vertical joints where hidden with 1 inch batten boards, horizontal joint that where staggered, got filled with high quality sealant. In addition to the Breckenridge board and batten siding the home also received 5 inch reveal james hardie, hardieplank siding. The HardiePlank Siding was a wonderful choice for the sides of the home most exposed to moisture. HardiePlank is a moisture resistant material and for a fraction of the cost of cedar siding, you can get very competitive product.
